Design

Design is at the crossroads of everything that I care about: business, art, technology, media, entertainment, and education. I became an art director + graphic designer by following my instincts and interests, going with the flow, asking lots of questions, learning quickly, collaborating easily, and changing course as needed. Although I didn’t know it growing up, I ended up right where I belong, doing creative work I love and enjoy, developing solutions to creative problems big and small.

Over the past 15+ years, I have had the honor of helping transform strategic business goals into high-quality user experiences, campaigns, products, and services for BIG brands, including Disney, ABC, Yahoo!, Apple, NBC, Warner Bros., Southwest Airlines, and Discovery, and small businesses alike.

Two of my most recent full-time positions were at Warner Bros. and Discovery, before and during their merger.

As part of Warner Bros. Digital, I managed the Creative Services team at Machinima. In addition to spearheading the company’s first rebrand in 5 years, I collaborated with the in-house team as well as agencies on a variety of graphic and video projects, including banner ads, billboards, keyart, logos, motion graphics, sales presentations, special events, sponsorships, and trailers.

At Discovery Inc., I was Design Manager of for Discovery+, focused on the “show art”for its US launch and global rollout, as well as day-to-day creative operations. Together with a small team of designers and production artists and some agency support, we adapted, created and reworked artwork for 2500+ tv series, specials, feature films and documentaries. All over the course of just over 12 months.

Currently, I’m an Independent Art Director + Graphic Designer…working on new adventures
